I can't believe Severide managed to get out of his legal problem so quickly & the way it worked out didn't seem that realistic. IMO. I think Mills kind of freaked out a bit too much at Dawson. He sometimes seems very immature, but is a really nice guy. I thought the way he reached out to comfort Casey was so nice. I didn't expect the Clinic fire and the way things are turning out for Casey. He will have to work with Voight and that will not be something he will enjoy,(I think so anyways).

I agree. How Severide got out of his legal problem was almost unrealistic....a huge part of me wanted punishment for Tara,of course, and even if she dropped the charges I don't think these kind of accusations can just be "dropped". No, it can't be that easy. I liked how Chief Boden cared about Kelly, losing his respect in particular. It's his ex-bestfriends kid,it had to be personal, right. Not that I think he privileges Kelly, but hey, he had known his dad for so many years...same with Pete...(I gonna post some thoughts on that later.)

I like all the thoughts on "Leaders Lead" but I have to say, the best part of that ep was the part where the 12 year old girl who had been abandoned at House 51 and found by Boden came back to update him on how she was doing. That is a forgotten part of what firehouses are. They are safe havens for newborns, generally along with places of worship and the like. I wish more folks who unfortunately feel the need to abandon children would realize this and at least give your child up at a safe haven.
